  • Welcome!

I am a Vermont based photographer, specializing in newborn photography, in the greater Chittenden County area. I feel so blessed to work with these tiny babies, so fresh from God. I love natural light and black and white photography. Both capture the perfect beauty of a newborn. I feel so blessed to be able to preserve these memories for mom and dad because newborns only stay "new" for a very short time.

I encourage you to visit my website and/or contact me for more information via the links above.

Changes to Lisa Harrison Photography

From here on out I will only be booking Newborn Sessions. That is where my heart is right now. There is something so special about capturing a brand new life, so fresh from God. They only stay like this for a few short weeks so I love everything about capturing the details and preserving them for mom and dad. Taking on less work and specializing in something I love will allow me more time to be the best mom that I can be to my own children. My daughter just tuned 7 and my son will soon be 9 and I am just now realizing how few years I have left with them where they actually WANT and CRAVE my undivided attention.

Thanks to all of you who have, and continue to, support me.

I was so happy to receive a call from this mom and hear that she was expecting her 3rd boy! We met when our first born were around 6 months old at Gymboree. At 3 weeks old J was perfectly behaved and slept almost the entire time. Jeanne, it was great catching up and J is beautiful. xo

Another beautiful baby girl in the studio last week.  Another awake baby:)We worked hard and managed to get some sleepy shots. So nice meeting you both!

Sweet baby M was older than most newborns who come see me and she wasn’t going to miss a thing that was going on! No matter…..we still got lots of great shots of her with those big beautiful eyes wide open! So nice to meet you all.

Week 20 | 52 Weeks

She has been wanting her front tooth to fall out for a few weeks now. It was just loose enough to give her problems when she ate and that was ruling out her favorites— corn on the cobb, corn dogs and apples! Loose teeth skeeve me out but I had to go at this one with a paper towel because it was just hanging there. I was proud of us both:)

Week 19 | 52 Weeks

I am behind on posting but I promise I take all my photos from the corresponding weeks:)Promise!

Penny for your thoughts……I love it when they are unaware I am watching them!
